Back in the motherland
After a brief stop in Kansas City this last weekend, I have returned to the great white north that is currently my home. And when I say "white" I am not kidding. I have yet to see a single black person since I moved here.

Today I finally got sick of Merak Mail Server's terrible command line interface and slogged through the documentation for migrating all the account data into a SQL database. As a test of its newfound usefulness, I started digging into a problem that has vexed me for a while but I haven't had the time to address until recently.
Well then.
Turns out, Dichotomy came out several months ago and I just don't know how to read.
Tonight is "Bring Your Own Vinyl" night at the Groove Kitchen. Bring your dancin' shoes, kids.
Raise your fist
It's been a while since I was excited for a new album to come out. It's been even longer than that since I planned to buy a CD the day it came out (I've bought a grand total of two albums in the last year). However, this new album by Becoming the Archetype has me pretty pumped. I've pirated it well in advance of the release date because I got tired of waiting, but when that Tuesday comes I'll be picking up all three of their albums to make an honest woman out of them (the CDs, not the band members).
